Semih Tareen is a multiple award winning film composer based in Seattle with 18 years of experience scoring symphonic and midi scores for feature films. He studied film scoring and orchestration at the Pacific Northwest Film Scoring Program where he was mentored by two-time Emmy winning film composer Hummie Mann. He studied filmmaking at the Seattle Film Institute. 
His horror film music work was released as a compilation called "Dark Symphonies" (Karanlik Senfoniler) by the prestigious record label KALAN music in Istanbul. 
Originally from Izmir, Turkey, he has been in Seattle, USA since 1995.
